What exactly does Zero Data Retention mean?
When you ask a question, ARCHOS finds the relevant passages in your documents and sends only these excerpts to a language model, together with the question. The provider of the model processes the request solely to generate the answer. Afterwards nothing remains with it: no copy of the request, no answer, no use for training. Your complete documents never leave the data centre in Vienna.
Is any data processed outside the EU?
The workspace and your project data are hosted in Vienna. Sign-in and the requests to the language models may also be processed outside the EU. Requests to language models run with Zero Data Retention, and no model is trained on your data. The data processing agreement with your office names the service providers involved.
Can other offices see our documents?
No. Each office has its own separate area. ARCHOS only searches your documents.
How do our staff sign in?
With your office’s Microsoft or Google account, or through a sign-in link sent to the business email address.
Is there a data processing agreement?
Yes. We conclude a data processing agreement with every office. It sets out how we process your data and which service providers are involved.
What happens to our data if we stop using ARCHOS?
Before you leave, you can export documents and answers. When the contract ends, we delete your data.
